You may have already heard about Miss Teen South Carolina, but seeing her deliver the message is another matter.
I think we found one of the folks who can't find the US on the map.

I am surprised that Aquent has included this Utube post on the blog. Perhaps MissTeen N.C. is dumb, stupid whatever, but kindness should prevail - please take this post down. Shame on you. (P.s - for the record, I am not related, know or have anything to do with Miss Teen N.C., just think Aquent should take the high road.
Hi Tracy, thanks for commenting.
I'm sorry if the post upset you. Comedy is tough, because there is always the chance of hurting someone's feelings.
I posted this because of sheer irony (as did many media outlets did in the US). She's trying to answer a very simple question and is avoiding it by instead working in hot button words like "Iraq" and "South Africa" in her speech. In many ways, it's like a politician not answering a question and that makes it funny.
You also must be aware that this woman has put herself in the spotlight and decided to appear on television, ads, etc. and appear in contests because of the fame associated with it. She's chosen to be in the public eye, the media didn't just find her walking down the street.
I was going to post today that she's answered the question a second time which can be accessed here.
But I do find this as funny as when our then Vice President Quayle recommended a youngster to add an "e" on the end of "potato" during a spelling bee.
Please also be aware, I do blog for Aquent, but I don't represent the opinions of the company.
Thanks again for commenting and letting me explain my opinion.
