One of the great things about working with Drea Silva is that she is endlessly connected to the Internet. So I can get IMs at my desk from her phone when she's stuck in traffic (she says she's at red lights, but...) And I get links e-mailed from her at odd times: 2:47am, 6:45pm, and the like.
The upside of this (besides the fact I'm not her roommate) is the endless amount of stuff she finds in cyberspace. Say, the blog ReadyMade which is devoted to DIYers who "like to make stuff". What kind of stuff? Stuff like pictures of anything you've ever hacked in an Altoids tin (via Flickr). Or Matchbox Pinhole Cameras. She also passed along the Make Blog, also devoted to DIY folks. (Who ever knew anyone had so much time? Or didn't have TiVo?)
Also an interesting passalong, the Blog Business Summit.
Looks like someone's trying to get me out of the office...

Hey, it was nice Kernspiring with you last night--what a fun gathering. I'm sure I'll be seeing you guys around more often. Have fun at work :P
It was great meeting you too, Steph! If I don't talk to you before you run the the Marathon, good luck!
Thanks for the pass along to our blog. We hope to see you at our next event.
DL Byron - In March? I may have to go and beg for $$ from the Powers that Be, but I'll try to see you there!
That's correct. Let me know if you need more info.
