Here in the UK any excuse to party is more than welcome and most of the country at least did a little dance when the mobile phone network Orange UK announced that the iPhone will be available on their network, breaking the exclusive distribution with it's rival 02.
Of course the war between 02 and Orange to gain your signature will be an interesting one, but I must warn 'buyer beware.'
For anyone thinking of purchasing an iPhone on the Orange network do your homework. When the iPhone launches on Orange on November 10th, it is said that there will be a number of limitations such as monthly data capped at 750MB, and a block on Facebook! Yes, that's right "a block on Facebook!" These are just a couple of things rumoured to be in Orange terms, and if you use internet on your phone regularly then 750MB will go in no time just by visiting sites that generate rich media content or sites that contain a large number of images. Sorry if I have burst your bubble but Orange may turn out to be a Pumpkin for iPhone users, so just a word of advice, do your homework and read the small print.
