Have You Heard about Aquent's Talent Referral Program?

aquentcash4ref.jpgAquent now features a referral program that not only rewards you for the referral itself -- regardless of outcome -- but continues to reward you when we conduct an "official" interview of the individual referred, and then keeps on rewarding you for every hour that that person works during their first year with Aquent.

Here's where the rubber hits the road:

For every 1000 referral points you earn, you can get $250 from us.

There are, I'm told, terms and conditions, etc., but the set-up is thankfully simple and straight-forward-seeming (you'll be the judge, of course).

Check it out for yourself here, or just download this description of the program and talk to your local Aquent office to find out more.

I think this is an idea whose time has come and it just might be a game-changer.

If a referral gets interviewed and goes to work full-time every business day of the year the maximum possible points within the 12 month period would be about 2095 or $523.75.

This is actually the lowest I've ever seen in any employee referral incentive program.

What happens if the person gets hired away?

You will earn 500 points when a candidate you refer is hired permanently.

We offer a $50 payout for the first 100 points earned and then $250 for each 1000 points earned. For our designated "high-demand" positions we offer two or more points for every hour worked. In fact, the majority of referrals currently in our system are earning 2-4 points per hour worked.

The scenario you presented would result in a $550 payout ($50 for first 100 points and $500 for the 2000 points.) If the points earned for each hour are accelerated by even two points the payout quickly becomes a lot more attractive!

Ultimately, we wanted to create a program that is different from what everyone else is doing. We'd love to hear your feedback on how we could improve the program. We've already made a number of changes since launching in June and will continue to make enhancements based on customer feedback.
