Insert Obscene Gesture Here

And here. And here.

Insert them in over 10 cities on little electronic billboards as a publicity campaign for a late-night cable cartoon, then watch the bomb squad show up thinking they're going to explode.

Turns out the marketing campaign for Aqua Teen didn't really go off as planned in Beantown.

Apparently in Boston "highways, bridges and a section of the Charles River were shut down and bomb squads were sent in before authorities declared the devices were harmless".

Oopsie.

By the way, when your marketing plan goes this wrong, you probably want to do more than fax an apology from your press person, as Turner Network Television has done.

And maybe think about putting up bail for those two Video Designers sitting in prison.

Or at least get them a couple of laptops to keep them busy.
