Honestly, if you're waiting to see how the Wesley Snipes tax fraud case turns out, it could be awhile.
CNN reports he's alive and well and filming in Namibia (which has no extradition treaty with the US), so it could take some time before he returns to Tampa, Florida where he's wanted for illegally claiming tax refunds for nearly $12 million.
So while you're waiting you should look at this AIGA article on organizing/presenting your portfolio. Steff Geissbuhler, Principal at Chermayeff & Geismar Inc. has some excellent advice on putting your best foot, er, piece forward.
"A well-structured portfolio has a beginning, a middle and an end. It should be a well-designed book that shows off your work in the best possible light. Samples should be clean and removable. The sequence doesn't have to be chronological, but I wouldn't put early school work at the end. Don't forget that the final image leaves a more lasting impression than the first."
We see a lot of portfolios over the year and believe us, you don't want to be the creative with his/her work in an oversized shoe box trying desperately to remember which piece was for which client.
It's just a little more painful than watching the Blade trilogy.
